Dr. Fauci’s “Gain of Function” research led to the current pandemic.
• Dr. Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease (NIAID) is also leader of the US task force overseeing the country’s response to the coronavirus.
• In October 2014, the US government placed a federal moratorium on gain-of-function (GOF) research—altering natural pathogens to make them more deadly and infectious–as a result of rising fears about a possible pandemic caused by accidental or deliberate release of the virus.
• The US government banned all federal funding on efforts to weaponize three viruses—influenza, Middle East respiratory syndrome (MERS), and severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS).
• The HHS in 2014 sent a letter to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill announcing they were going to defund the program. Dr. Ralph S. Baric was identified in the letter.
• In the face of that moratorium, Fauci outsourced in 2015 the GOF research to China’s Wuhan lab and licensed the lab to continue receiving federal funding, at least $7.4 million, breaking the law when he funded research banned by the US Government.
• Doctor Shi Zhengli was part of a team working on a coronavirus project in 2014 before it was shut down by the DHS. Dr. Shi and Dr. Ralph S. Baric from North Carolina, published an article in a 2015 edition of Nature Medicine. In the article they discussed bat coronaviruses that showed potential for human emergence.
• After the US research project was shut down, the Chinese moved forward with the project and ran research and development at the Wuhan Institute of Virology. From Dr. Shi Zhengli’s papers and resume, it is clear that they successfully isolated the coronavirus in the lab and were actively experimenting with species to species transmission.
• The Wuhan Institute of Virology is now at the center of scrutiny for possibly releasing the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus and causing the global Covid-19 pandemic.
• Many scientists have criticized gain of function research, which involves manipulating viruses in the lab to explore their potential for infecting humans, because it creates a risk of starting a pandemic. SARS-CoV-2, the virus now causing a global pandemic, is believed to have originated in bats. U.S. intelligence conceded last month that the pandemic may have originated in a leak from the Wuhan lab.
• The journal Nature reported on Chinese experiments with two different strains of flu, and warned about it, in 2015. American officials dispute the idea that the virus emerged from a lab in Wuhan province, claiming that it arose at an open air market, but their argument is weakened since we already knew five years ago the Chinese were working on it.
• The National Institute for Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), the organization led by Dr. Fauci, funded scientists at the Wuhan Institute of Virology and other institutions for work on gain-of-function research on bat coronaviruses.
• In 2019, with the backing of NIAID, the National Institutes of Health committed $3.7 million over six years for research that included gain-of-function work. The program followed another $3.7 million, 5-year project for collecting and studying bat coronaviruses, bringing the total to $7.4 million.
• Dr. Judy Mikovits believes SARS-CoV-2 was manipulated within a laboratory setting. She bases her claims on evidence for “accelerated viral evolution” that could only have come from human intervention.
• Dr. Mikovits also claims that the COVID-19 pandemic was maliciously designed as a way to advance the agenda of Big Pharma seeking to launch mass immunization campaigns.
• Mikovits is author of a bestselling book, Plague of Corruption: Restoring Faith in the Promise of Science, “a behind the scenes look at the issues and egos which will determine the future health of humanity.”
